Description
🇺🇸 Bomme Root Renewal (Bomme Hair, USA; the BLH308 complex was developed in Korea) —
🌿 Food supplement for hair growth and density.
▪︎ 2 tablets = 350 mg BLH308: persimmon leaf, green tea and Sophora japonica fruit extracts, plus white mulberry leaf extract, pomegranate concentrate and vitamin D3; 60 tablets = 30 days
🕒 2 tablets a day with a full glass of water; in the trial the course lasted 24 weeks
🔬 In human hair-follicle cells persimmon leaf extract lowered the inflammatory signal IL-6 (interleukin-6) and 5α-reductase — the enzyme that turns testosterone into dihydrotestosterone, the hormone that thins hair
🧬 Evidence: a double-blind trial in 88 adults — after 24 weeks on BLH308 twice a day, hair density and hair thickness were significantly higher than on placebo (Ham, Skin Res Technol 2023)
⚠️ Pregnancy and breastfeeding — only after talking to a doctor.
