Every article on this site is written or directly supervised by Dr. Vladimir Pereligyn and is intended to translate primary clinical research into actionable, patient-facing guidance.

This policy describes how content is sourced, written, reviewed, updated, and corrected, and what conflicts of interest are disclosed. It applies to every article under /blog, every condition page (e.g. /diabetes, /hypothyroidism), and every clinical protocol description published on this site.

2. Author & Reviewer Credentials

All clinical content is authored by Dr. Vladimir Pereligyn, MD:

3. Source Hierarchy

Every clinical claim cites a specific primary source. Sources are selected and weighted in this order:

1. Tier 1 (preferred): peer-reviewed randomized controlled trials (RCTs), systematic reviews, and meta-analyses indexed in PubMed/MEDLINE. Every such citation includes a PMID linked to pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov.
2. Tier 2: clinical guidelines from recognized professional bodies — NIH, CDC, WHO, ADA (American Diabetes Association), ESC (European Society of Cardiology), ESHRE, ATA (American Thyroid Association), AACE, ETA.
3. Tier 3: textbooks of internal medicine, endocrinology, functional medicine, and integrative oncology authored by board-certified specialists.
4. Tier 4 (supporting only): mechanistic or preclinical studies (cell lines, animal models). Flagged explicitly in the text as preclinical; not used as a stand-alone basis for clinical recommendation.

Russian-language databases (CyberLeninka, eLibrary, etc.) and non-peer-reviewed preprints are not used as primary sources. They may be cited as secondary context only when an English-language primary source is unavailable.

4. Editorial Process

1. Topic selection — driven by patient questions in clinical practice, Google search demand analysis, and gaps in existing evidence-based literature.
2. SERP & gap analysis — top-ranking competitor pages are reviewed for accuracy and coverage. The article is scoped to add clinical depth rather than duplicate.
3. Drafting — written in English first (to match primary source language), then translated to Russian and Ukrainian by the author personally. No machine translation is used.
4. Citation pass — every clinical claim is checked against the cited source. PMIDs are verified live before publication.
5. Quality gate — pre-publish 80-item CORE-EEAT audit (independent content-quality framework) plus medical-specific gates (locale parity, citation density, internal linking, schema validation).
6. Publish — RU/EN/UK simultaneously. JSON-LD MedicalScholarlyArticle schema with linked author Physician entity.

5. Update & Review Cadence

• New evidence — articles are updated when a major RCT, meta-analysis, or guideline revision changes the recommended dose, indication, or contraindication profile.
• Routine review — every clinical article is reviewed at minimum once per 24 months. Articles older than 36 months without review are deprecated or rewritten.
• Date stamps — each article carries a visible publishDate. When a substantive update is made, the dateModified field is updated in the schema; trivial typo or formatting fixes do not trigger a date change.

6. Conflict of Interest & Commercial Disclosure

Universum.earth operates an online supplement shop under the Md_Pereligyn own brand. When an article recommends a specific own-brand product (e.g., Md_Pereligyn Virgin Black Seed Oil), the recommendation is accompanied by an inline disclosure that:

• The product is sold under the Md_Pereligyn own brand
• The author has a financial interest in the sale
• Any third-party product meeting the same standardization criteria (active-compound concentration, certificate of analysis) is clinically equivalent

No third-party affiliate links are used in any article. Universum.earth does not participate in Amazon Associates, iHerb affiliate, Lazada affiliate, or equivalent programs.

No sponsored content. No article on this site is paid for or influenced by any pharmaceutical company, supplement brand, or third-party advertiser.

7. AI Use Policy

AI tools (large language models, including Claude and GPT) are used in the editorial workflow strictly for:

• Source discovery — identifying PubMed papers, meta-analyses, and guidelines relevant to a clinical question
• SERP analysis — competitor coverage mapping
• Copyediting — grammar, locale syntax, structural consistency
• Translation cross-check — Russian/Ukrainian terminology verification

AI is not used to generate clinical claims, dosing recommendations, contraindications, or any patient-facing medical guidance. Every clinical sentence is authored or directly approved by Dr. Pereligyn against the cited primary source. Articles are not auto-generated.

8. Correction Policy

If you find an error — a misquoted statistic, a mistranslated dose, a broken citation, a superseded guideline — please email vpereligyn@gmail.com with the article URL and the specific concern.

Substantive corrections (changes to clinical claims, dosing, or contraindications) are acknowledged with an in-article correction note dated to the correction day, in addition to the standard dateModified update. Typographic or formatting fixes are applied silently.
