💊 What it is and what it’s used for:
HIRUDOID contains polysulfated glycosaminoglycan, a substance with anti-inflammatory and antithrombotic effects. It prevents blood clots and improves microcirculation.
Indications:
▪︎ Superficial phlebitis and thrombophlebitis
▪︎ Venous swelling (edema)
▪︎ Pain, inflammation, swelling, and trophic issues in varicose veins and post-thrombotic syndrome
▪︎ Bruises (including post-traumatic hematomas)
⚠️ Before using:
Do not use HIRUDOID if:
▪︎ You are allergic to polysulfated glycosaminoglycan, heparinoids, or any other ingredient in the product
Precautions:
▪︎ Stop using and consult your doctor if you develop skin irritation (redness, itching, rash)
▪︎ Avoid application to open wounds or mucous membranes
