Folic acid is essential for:
▪︎ Synthesis of nucleic acids and amino acids
▪︎ Normal cell growth and division
▪︎ Red blood cell formation and prevention of megaloblastic anemia 🩺 Indications for Use:
▪︎ Treatment and prevention of folic acid deficiency anemia
▪︎ Hypovitaminosis of folic acid (including during pregnancy and lactation)
▪︎ Support during use of folic acid antagonists (e.g., methotrexate)
▪︎ Adjunct therapy in liver diseases, intestinal disorders, and malabsorption syndromes 💉 Administration & Dosage:
▪︎ Administered intramuscularly
▪︎ Dosage and duration are determined individually by a physician ⚠️ Contraindications:
▪︎ Hypersensitivity to folic acid or excipients
▪︎ Malignant tumors (except in cases of folate-deficiency anemia)
▪︎ Untreated pernicious anemia (Vitamin B12 deficiency) ⚠️ Special Warnings:
